Santiago Giménez is one of the Mexican soccer players of the moment. The Feyenoord goalscorer has generated a lot of interest from various clubs in Europe. One of them is the historic Milan from Serie A in Italy. The rossoneros would be behind the “Bebote”, but the Aztec would only be one of the pieces of his ambitious project.
According to information from Calciomercato, the board of directors of the Italian team would be looking for a young forward who can do a firm competition to Oliver Giroud on the attacking front. The Frenchman has scored 16 goals this season, but with the pressure on the young Mexican’s bench, Giroud’s performance could be much more effective.
“There was a meeting between the Rossoneri board and the agents of Santiago Giménez (…) Milan is looking for a young striker to alternate with Giroud, Giménez’s agents have come forward, ”the report indicated.

Milan’s ambitious project
Despite the fact that the possible acquisition of Giménez would be a luxury reinforcement for the Italian team, The directive would have in its plans to make a large investment in the transfer market. One of the main criticisms of the club was that Rafael Leão was not very well surrounded to aspire to big goals. This vision would change for the next season.
