Four members of a family died this Tuesday in a shooting inside a house in Bowie County (Texas)about 240 kilometers east of Dallas, the Texan county sheriff’s office reported today.

He suspect, 18 years oldbarricaded himself for more than two hours inside the mobile home where the shooting broke out in the Nash community.

After negotiating with the police, the suspect turned himself in to authoritiesthe Bowie Sheriff’s Department explained.

Police found four people dead inside the house and they believe they are members of the same family.

Authorities received a 911 emergency service call about a man who was shooting people inside a house and that he threatened to commit suicide, according to the KETK television station.

Police have not yet identified the victims.

The suspect, who has also not been identified, is being held in the county jailpending the investigation progresses and charges are imposed.

The shooting occurred just over three weeks after a Mexican suspect shot his neighbors, killing five people of Honduran nationalityincluding an 8-year-old boy, at a home in San Jacinto County (Texas), about 90 kilometers from Houston.

The victims of the massacre were identified by Honduran consular officials as Daniel Enrique Lazo-Guzman8 years old, his mother Sonia Argentina Guzman25 years old, Diana Velazquez Alvarado21 years old, Julisa (Obdulia) Molina Rivera31 years old, and jose jonathan caceresof 18 years.

The perpetrator of the massacre is of Mexican origin and his name is Francisco Oropeza, 39 years old.

The suspect was known in the neighborhood because he liked to shoot in the garden of his houseand the night of the event, he drew his weapon and fired several shots into the air, which led his Honduran neighbors to ask him to keep quiet because they were trying to put a baby to sleep, to which he replied that he could do whatever he wanted, later He shot them point blank.
