Carlos Salcedo will become the new reinforcement of Cruz Azul, which would make him the replacement for Ramiro Funes Mori in La Máquina, this for the 2023 Opening of the MX League. At least that is how the reports by Vladimir García make it known.

According to the information revealed by said source, The Mexican central defender will be with the cement team for the next three years and with the option of one more. In addition, he explained that all that is needed is medical and physical examinations to sign his new contract.

As a result, Carlos Salcedo will seek the role he had with the UANL Tigres team in Liga MX, before his departure to Major League Soccer and, of course, his return to Bravos de Juárez, where he is currently playing.

With the Juarez team, The center-back was a constant starter, but the good results did not come, so now they must look for a rearmed squad, situation that Cruz Azul is also carrying out.

Salcedo, at 29 years of age, not only has experience in Liga MX and MLS. The Mexican central defender also had action in European soccer, where he played for Fiorentina in Italy and Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany.

The cement group, under the command of Ricardo ‘Tuca’ Ferretti, will have to face the Liga MX and the Leagues Cup, tournament where Mexican and United States clubs will face each other and where Cruz Azul will come to life.
