Christian Nodal was asked what he thinks of the fashionable genre of “Corridos Tumbados”, a musical style that he has not experienced. But according to what he revealed to him they have no poetry and are too explicit and warlike.
In a conversation with the content creators of the “Escuela de Nada” podcast, Nodal did not keep his words and answered some questions that he was asked regarding what is currently happening with his work and with which some colleagues, he also confessed that his great idol Ariel Camacho was one of those who had his own style to make corridos.

The one who already came out to give his opinion on the subgenre was Christian Nodal, one of the most important stars in the regional, who since he began his career chose to do something unique and special that he called “Mariacheño” and that have nothing to do with it. With the corridos, the native of Caborca, Sonora spoke about the new exponents.
Among the first things that Nodal assured is that the corrido has existed since the time of the Mexican Revolution, that before it was dedicated to people with feats, later exclusively for drug traffickers and now they have other themes that are also aimed at drugs and illegal acts, but that in addition They have changed the use of their language.
“It is a life of madness, of this, aspirational, of overcoming so to speak; It kind of brings a lot of this mood that you need to hear for ‘Wow, I’m going to get up, I’m going to get my batteries, I’m focused on what’s mine’, like it stopped being a corrido to sing to the drug traffickers and there are many people who I like it, it’s fine, but I feel that it hooked a lot in youth because it’s a mood; I don’t know if you have noticed, but social networks are talking to you all the time about how to undertake and as such, and the music was put on for the same thing in the regional, which had never been done that way, with that context “
Some of the youngsters who stand out in the corridos are Featherweight, Junior H, Natanael Cano, Fuerza Regida, Eslabón Armado and Tito Torbellino Jr, to mention a few who have also changed their way of presenting themselves to the public and left behind the hat to dress as they prefer.
Nodal added that it helped him to fight for his style in grupera music and although if he dresses in a Texan, he also wears jewelry, brighter clothes or other patterns that have nothing to do with the regional world and the tattoos for which he has been heavily criticized throughout his life on stage.
