Little by little, the challenges of social networks have become more and more controversial, mainly because they cause discomfort and damage to many of the victims, as happened to Lana Clay-Monaghan, who ended up in the hospital and today calls for justice.

According to the account of the case, released by ABC News, one of the popular pranks is to place a bucket on the victim’s head while she is distracted.

That was what happened to Lana, who I was walking into a Target located in The District in Tustin, California, when suddenly everything went dark.

“I think something very similar to someone suddenly putting something over my head that wanted to film my reaction,” Clay-Monaghan explained while describing the prank.

“It obscured my vision… I couldn’t hear and I couldn’t really breathe and I immediately grabbed him and started yelling for help.said Clay-Monaghan.

What the authors did not know was that she suffered from epilepsy, so after being disoriented, she noticed a group of boys laughing and the bright light of their cell phones pointed at her, causing her to have a meltdown.

“The last thing I said was help and I started crying and that was the last moment before I came out and hit the ground,” Clay-Monaghan said.

The sudden stress along with the change in lights and sounds caused her to pass out. He hit his head and did not regain consciousness until he arrived at the hospital.

The Tustin Police Department told him that what happened to him is similar to a prank that was recorded and posted on TikTok.

Clay-Monaghan now fears a video of her will be posted onlineHe also called for teens to be held accountable for the prank gone wrong.

Tustin police are currently investigating and urge anyone with information to contact those responsible.
