A 6 year old latin boywho was born with some severe disabilities and health problems, disappeared from evermanin the Fort Worth-Dallas, Texas area.

Police, who issued an Amber Alert for Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez after midnight Saturday, asked for the community’s help in locating the minor who suffers from a chronic lung disease that requires medical treatment and, occasionally, oxygen assistance.

Investigators began looking into the boy’s disappearance on March 20, when Texas Child Protective Services (CPS) received an anonymous alert that the child had not been seen since November 2022.

Since then, attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful, and Authorities have also been unable to get help from the mother, Cindy Cecilia Rodriguez-Singh, 37..

“It’s a severely disabled 6-year-old boy who can’t be found and is missing, the mother has been unwilling to cooperate with investigators to help us just to ensure the child is safe and we desperately need the public’s attention and help. Everman Police Chief Craig Spencer told NBC 5 DFW.

The amber alert issued Saturday included an image of the boy’s mother and her truck: a gray 2012 Chevy Silverado with Texas license plate PLS-7091 and a unique drawing of Santa Muerte on the rear windshield.

However, Saturday night, the van was found at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Authorities learned that Rodriguez-Alvarez’s mother, along with her six other children, had boarded a flight to Istanbul, Turkey, last Thursday.

According to officials, Noel was not listed as a passenger on that flight.

The Amber Alert was discontinued shortly after it was issued and Noel’s case was reissued as an Endangered Missing Person Alert through the Texas DPS.

Investigators say the family may have stayed in Turkey, or may have only stopped there en route to India, where Rodriguez-Singh’s husband is from.

The police discovered that there were relatives who had not seen Noel or his brothers since November.

The mother told police at the time that the boy was in Mexico with his father. However, the man told police that he did not know the child because he was deported to Mexico before he was born.

Police said Noel’s four siblings, ages 7 to 11, and her half brothers, 5-month-old twins, had not been seen since the mother contacted her school in Everman to inquire about disenrolling.

The woman also has an extensive criminal record that includes alcohol offences.

Police ask anyone with information on Noel’s whereabouts to contact them at 817-293-2923.
