One vehicle suffered a violent rollover after striking a detached tire on a pickup truck on Highway 118in the Chatsworth area.

The incident, which occurred on Thursday, March 23, was captured by a camera on board a Tesla car that was traveling meters behind the two vehicles involved in the incident.

The recording shows that the accident was caused by the detachment of the front tire on the driver’s side of a van Just at the moment when a car, which appears to be a dark Kia Soul, was driving faster and he couldn’t dodge it, he struck it from below and sent him into the air several feet, falling on the awning.

In the video you can also see when the same tire collided with the overturned car in the rubble it left on the road.

The van with the blown tire rolled on three wheels to a stop on the right hand side of the highway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of the overturned car suffered only minor injuries.

The incident happened on Highway 118, near the De Soto Avenue exit in the Chatsworth area.

Apparently, the breaking of the lug nuts caused the tire to come off the truck.

The driver of the Tesla car that caught the crash said the driver of the Kia Soul car was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
