The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) confirmed in a statement that the two launches had occurred from Junghwa county, in the province of North Hwanghae (southwest of the country) at around 07:47 local time (22:47 GMT on Sunday) and that they traveled about 370 kilometers each.

“We strongly condemn North Korea’s successive ballistic missile launches as serious provocations that undermine peace and stability on the Korean peninsula, as well as the international community, and are in clear violation of UN Security Council resolutions,” the JCS said.
