Seniesa Estrada achieved an important victory by defeating Tina Rupprecht by unanimous decision of the judges, on Saturday March 25 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California (USA). The boxer unified the World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Council (WBC) titles that she took from the German.

The Los Angeles native controlled her opponent using her jab and body shots. In addition, Road almost completely nullified Rupprecht’s right hand, his best weapon. In the end the judges scored 100-90 on all three scorecards.

“This training camp was tougher mentally than physically. I showed it in the ring by sticking to my game plan and using my jab. I always want to put on an entertaining fight, but I knew that with an opponent like Tina, I had to use my jab because she is a short fighter who stays very low. And when you fight fighters like that, you have to use your jab and stick to a game plan,” Estrada said in the post-fight in-ring interview.

“I want to tell the other 105-pound champion (Yokasta Valle) that I’m next to beat you up. You can get it below. I’m the best in this division, and I know it. I want to prove it by being indisputable,” she expressed.

WBA and WBC strawweight champion Seniesa Estrada He has an immaculate record after 24 fights with nine knockouts. For her part, the German Tina Rupprecht suffered the first defeat of her career and now has a record of 12 wins, one draw and one setback.
