Alejandro Zendejas denies Mexico and assured that the United States is above

In the last few hours, a statement prior to the debut of Alexander Zendejas with USA where he renounced Mexico and put a step above the set of stars and stripes. In an interview prior to the match in which he debuted with a goal against Grenade by Concacaf Nations Leaguethe player said on the screens of Telemundo that despite the good level of Mexico and Canadahe Team USA it was a notch up when it came to quality.

“Today I say yes (the United States is the best team in Concacaf) we are the best. I say that the United States, Mexico and Canada are very close, but today I believe that we are one step above”he expressed.

After a long controversy over the indecision of not knowing which team to represent, Zendejas recently chose the set of stars and stripes. On this matter he was also questioned.

The Club América player who is aware of the pressure he will have to face when playing for the North Americans.

“Everywhere there will be pressure because you have to give results, so I don’t think playing for any team is easy, I’m sure there will be pressure in these matches, but most of us play for big teams and most of them in Europe, so they’re accustomed to this type of pressure”, he pointed out.

The Mexican-American debuted in the best form after scoring his first goal for the United States at minute 72 of the 7-1 win against Granada.
