After the departure of Rafael Puente Jr., the Pumas board of the UNAM has made the decision to bring in Raúl Alpízar to take charge of the first team in the following Clausura 2023 commitments of the MX League.
This was announced by the same club through social networks, where he explained that the current director of the basic forces of the feline club will assume the training sessions of the men’s first teamil, all this until the directive decides who will be the new official coach of Pumas.
“The National University Club informs that, as of today, Professor Raúl Alpízar, current director of basic forces of our institution, will take charge of the training of the men’s first team for now, waiting of the arrival of the new technical director of Pumas”, is read in the press bulletin delivered by the Pumas de la UNAM.
Let’s remember that the output of Puente Jr. was carried out after falling 0-2 against the champions Tuzos del Pachuca on the twelfth day of the Clausura, and after the request of many fans present at the headquarters of the team based in Mexico City.
