The World Baseball Classic is already touching the semifinals, with Japan going undefeated and Venezuela doing the same in the first phase. In addition, Mexico achieved its historic qualification to the semifinals after beating Puerto Rico.
Given the proximity of the decisive instances, the question arises about the prizes that will be won by the team that wins and those that managed to qualify for the event.
Equitable distribution between teams

The dollar amount teams will receive
Teams will be receiving a total of $300,000 just for participating.a figure that will increase according to performance. The two teams classified by each group will be paid an additional $400,000..
In addition to the teams that seal their pass to the semifinals will be canceling another $500,000 dollars.
The champion team of World Baseball Classic will take a total of $1 million dollars and the runners-up will pocket $500,000 dollars for reaching the final of the event.
