The Eagles of America were lowered from the clouds last Saturday when they fell by a landslide -and at the Azteca Stadium- by a score of 0-3 against the current champions Tuzos del Pachuca.
The result has upset the entire team and especially the fans, both those present at the venue who did not hesitate to boo some players, and those who watched the match on television and expressed themselves through social networks.
With memes, mocking comments and harsh criticismthe fans punished the América squad, led by Fernando ‘Tano’ Ortiz.
The main one pointed out by the defeat is the goalkeeper Óscar Jiménez. For the cream-blue fans, their two errors ended in a couple of goals that led to the rout of Pachuca.

Other fans also pessimistically indicated that with this level of football America could not even reach the semifinals of the Closing Tournament 2023.
This defeat against the current champions of Liga MX meant the end of coach Fernando ‘Tano’ Ortiz’s undefeated streak since he was made official as America’s coach a little over a year ago.
With this defeat, the capitalists leave the first four positions with a record of 4 wins, 5 draws and one loss. Their next challenge will be on Saturday March 11 when they visit the Nuevo León University Stadium to face the UANL Tigres.
