Since the 2023 Closing Tournament of the MX League began, there have been several stadiums where fights have been generated in the stands. This weekend was no exception and the BBVA stands witnessed a violent altercation by a group of Rayados de Monterrey fans in which a child ended up affected.
At the end of the matchday 10 match between Monterrey and FC Juárez, local fans were caught fighting among themselves in an area of the sports venue. Through social networks, some images of the brutal beating emerged.
In the audiovisual you can see how some fans begin to punch each other while they are separated by security forces and members of the ‘staff’. However, the exchange continued to the point that several of them fell a few seats down. Even in the clip you can see how while they are descending they take a child ahead of them.
Until now, the reasons that generated this fight between fans of the same team are not known. It should be remembered that for this match the animation bar ‘La Adicción’ could not access due to a sanction from Liga MX. Those who did it were through the Fan ID identification.
“Not like that, not like that. The desperation of a family man who protects his little son from a lawsuit. This is not what we want. Zero tolerance”, wrote the user on Twitter who shared the video of the altercation.
In this match, Rayados de Monterrey took a resounding 3-0 victory and reaffirms its leadership in the general table of the Liga MX. The violent episode is one more of the several that have originated in this Clausura 2023.
A few days ago, on matchday 8, a video of the Atlas fans attacking a UANL Tigres fan at the Jalisco Stadium went viral. A couple of dates before, precisely a Rayados de Monterrey fan suffered harassment and was even taken out of the venue where the red and black play at home.
On matchday four of the championship against Santos Laguna, Atlas fans clashed with security members both inside and outside the sports venue and shots were heard.
