A fan died at the BBVA Stadium in Monterrey during matchday 10 of the 2023 Clausura Tournament of the Liga MX. The Monterrey club reported the death of the fan after the game with Juárez.

“The club informs our fans and the media of the unfortunate death of a fan due to natural causes, which occurred tonight after finishing the game played at the BBVA stadium”, was made public through a statement.

Los Rayados reported that the fan presented discomfort after leaving the facilities, so he returned to the stadium to the parking lot. to be attended by the ambulances located where he received cardiopulmonary resuscitation and fibrillation, but was unsuccessful.
