Student stabbed at Orange County high school

A Tustin High School student had to be hospitalized Tuesday after allegedly being stabbed by another student at the school.the authorities reported.

The Tustin Police Department said that, At approximately 12:18 pm, officers went to the school, located at 1171 El Camino Real, in the city of Tustin..

When the police officers arrived, They arrested the teenager suspected of committing the assault with a knifewho was in the custody of high school staff.

Authorities reported that a knife was recovered at the scene of the attack.

The student who was the victim of the attack received first aid at school and was later transported to a local hospital to receive additional medical attention, authorities reported in a press release.

Due to the incident, Tustin High School officials issued a temporary shelter-in-place order.. Subsequently, the students were placed in the care of school personnel and were later released to their families.

According to Tustin police, At the moment there are no suspects or more additional victimsalthough an investigation into this attack with a knife remains active.
