A new edition of the best-known world music awards, the Grammys, is close to being held.

It will take place on February 5th at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles, in the United States.

It is the most important gala in the music industry. Trevor Noah, renowned comedian, will once again be the host of the great event.

There are many nominations, but those of Adele, Beyoncé Lamar, Carlile and Kendrick stand out.

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences released this week the list of artists who will participate in the event.

Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy and Lizzo, are part of the figures that will be presented at the event.

This year’s edition will reward not only the recordings, but also their authors, which were made between October two years ago and September last year.

There are a total of 90 categories, divided into 29 genres, which make up the award structures to be delivered.

It will be the 65th edition of the Grammy Awards and can be enjoyed on television screens in the United States through the CBS channel. While it will be broadcast via streaming on Paramount +. The gala will begin at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time in the United States and will end at 11:30 p.m.

As for the main nominations and the ones most anticipated by the public, we can mention the categories of “Record and Song of the Year”, Album of the Year and Best New Artist.

A Latino is nominated for the first time in history, in the record project category, and it is precisely Benito Martínez, better known as Bad Bunny.

These are some of the artists that compete with the Puerto Rican singer: Abba, Adele, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Coldplay, Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and Harry Styles.
