Brighton removes Ecuadorian Moisés Caicedo from the team after a possible arrival at Arsenal for $60 million dollars

Ecuadorian Moisés Caicedo is one of Brighton’s best players and one that is expected before the transfer market closes be transferred to Arsenal for a figure greater than $60 million dollars.

Brighton did not let him enter the training facilities until at least February 1 for his contractual situation to be resolved and will not play on Sunday in the FA Cup with the English team until his pass becomes effective.

The Ecuadorian player expressed on social networks that he wants to be one of the best players in the history of Ecuador and dedicated a message to Brighton fans who have supported him during his two seasons in English football.

“My dream will always be to be the most successful player in the history of Ecuador. I am proud to be able to generate a record transfer fee for Brighton that would allow them to reinvest and help the club continue to be successful,” the player said on Twitter.

Caicedo, 21, is considered one of the best midfielders in South America and in the Premier League.. This season he has played 18 games with a goal and an assist, but his versatility in the midfield endorses him as one of the best in the Premier.

“I’m grateful to Mr. Bloom and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel like I’ve always done my best for them. I always play soccer with a smile and with my heart. I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santo Domingo in Ecuador,” Caicedo said.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Chelsea made a $55 million offer for Caicedo, but Brighton turned it down and Arsenal made a new offer. for $60 million dollars that seems to be more in line with what the club is looking for. It will be three important days for the Ecuadorian soccer player to join one of the greats of Europe with only 21 years and the possibility of winning titles.
