The dollar after several days appreciating in the Aztec market today, although it moves in both directions, begins the day losing value against the Mexican peso that recovered in the morning hours with at least 4 cents in its favor. At the time of writing this note, the trend was variable and went up and down in fractions of seconds. But the average price is around 18.78 pesos per dollar unit.

In Mexico, at the bank window, the average price of the dollar for purchase is 18.78 per unit and for sale it is 18.78 pesos per dollar unit. The trend is variable.

In Honduras, the trend remains upward for the dollar, although the movement is almost imperceptible in that market. Today the price is 24.66 lempiras per greenback unit. And for the purchase and sale, the maximums and minimums are averaged at 24.54 and 24.80 lempiras per dollar, respectively.

In Nicaragua, the dollar maintains a positive trend and it seems that it closes the week at an average price similar to that of the beginning of the week. at 36.54 córdobas per greenback unit. For buying and selling, the trend remains at the same average between 36.08 córdobas and 37.00 córdobas per dollar, respectively.

In Costa Rica, the dollar continues with the upward trend, although today it shows little movement compared to yesterday’s session. The green bill trades against the Costa Rican colon at a price of 562.55 per dollar unit. In the average purchase and sale, the green bill moves between 560.35 for the purchase and 564.75 colones per dollar, respectively.

In the Dominican Republic, the greenback maintains its upward trend against the local peso. Today it is trading with appreciation and at a price of 56.79 DOP per dollar unit. For the purchase and sale of the green ticket in Dominican banks, the average is between 56.55 pesos and 57.03 DOP per dollar unit.

The dollar in Venezuela is trading upwards, as is customary in that South American market; already this week reached the floor of 21. Today the price is 21.69 bolivars per dollar unit. And the average of the day moves between 21.67 and 21.72 Bs. per green ticket for the purchase and sale, respectively.
