Passenger saves the life of a woman on a flight from New York to Florida

One woman turned out to be very lucky that a passenger who shared the flight with her had medical knowledge and save her when suffered a medical emergency.

According to Fox News, a routine flight from New York to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, turned into moments of terror and shock when a woman fainted in the middle of the corridor, after suffering a medical emergency in mid-flight.

After an hour of flight, a woman suddenly passed out in the hallway while the crew handed out drinks to the other passengers heading to Florida.

Once the woman passed out in the central aisle and lay there for a few minutes, the pilot was made aware of the situation and was preparing to make an emergency landing when a man came to help the sick woman.

The hero to the rescue

As the woman lay on the floor of the JetBlue plane, a man approached her to attend to her before the sudden fainting that surprised the passengers and crew and that was about to cause an emergency landing.

The man wearing a kippah (a hat worn by Jews) and blue gloves he approached the woman lying on the floor of the plane to support her. The woman was also treated by the crew, who put an oxygen mask on her face.

The man who helped the lady is an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and was able to stabilize it, so the flight was able to continue to its destination without incident.

The woman he was conscious and talking when the plane landed and an ambulance met the plane after emergency personnel boarded the flight to get the woman out first.
