Keylor Navas has not had many minutes with Paris Saint Germain in the last season of Ligue 1 against the ownership of Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Costa Rican, who still has a year left on his contract, could look for a new team in the Premier League.
The recently promoted team Nottingham Forest is interested in signing Navas in the last days of the winter transfer window. This occurs after the injury of the starting goalkeeper of the English club Dean Henderson, and thus avoid relegation to the Premiership and take advantage of the fact that the Tico could once again have minutes in a team as a starter.
The French newspaper L’Equipe reported that Keylor Navas said yes to join the English club and that it is enough for both teams to agree on the terms of the contract.or to let the Costa Rican join the ranks of the Premier League side.
“Nottingham Forest are seriously interested in signing Keylor Navas on loan from PSG. Concrete idea since I would be open to trying the experience of the Premier League ”, said the journalist Fabrizio Romano on his social networks.
Since the arrival of Christophe Galtier, Keylor Navas has been relegated to the bench and has not even seen minutes in Ligue 1 after 19 dates in the 2022-2023 season. In the Champions League he has also been seated by Donnarumma, despite the fact that the Italian goalkeeper was in evidence in the round of 16 last season against Real Madrid.
The only games that Keylor Navas played were in the French Cup where he has a goal conceded and a clean sheet. In the quarterfinals they will face Olympique de Marseille.
For its part, Nottingham Forest is in 13th place in the table with 21 points. The English club has four points above from the relegation zone to the Premiership. Nottingham are four straight games without defeat which helped them out of relegation.
