River Shell, a girl originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who learned to walk on all fours like the character in The Jungle Book, is causing a stir on social media.

According to his mother, the little girl grew up next to six German shepherd dogs which she previously adopted.

This situation not only allowed River to learn to walk on all fours, but also it also occasionally feeds itself with food intended for its pets.

Ashley Shell, the little girl’s parent, confessed that when she got pregnant she began to feel nervous not knowing how her dogs would get along with the baby.

However, the 31-year-old was later surprised to see her half-dozen pets become her daughter’s best friends.

Now less than two years old, River thoroughly enjoys playing with Meeka, Kai, Ryker, Koba, Brenna and Roma, names that go by his six furry partners in mischief.

“When he was around eight months old, he started watching them and tried to copy what they were doing. She loves to play in her water if we forget to pick her up, plus she tries to steal dog food whenever she can, ”says Ashley Shell, who has made an influencer out of her little girl.

After sharing a video of “Mowgli” as it is known on TikTok, the girl’s adventures managed to attract more than 9.1 million views and more than 2 million people “liked” the post.

The little girl has now taken to sitting in her dogs’ cage and even having fun with their toys.

Nevertheless, In social networks, there are those who are against the position assumed by Ashley Shell by allowing her daughter to grow up with dogs, because in addition to considering it unhealthy, they argue that it is generating emotional instability for River by allowing him a behavior closer to the animal world than that of most children his age.
