Carlos Peña will continue to waste his football in exotic lands. The talented Mexican midfielder comes from a few months of inactivity after his unsuccessful signing with Club Vida de Honduras. Nevertheless, Al Dhaid gave the Aztec the opportunity to continue his career. United Arab Emirates seduced the Gullit with a large salary.

Arab football continues to capture the attention of world football with its curious signings. This time a Mexican was acquired as a star to boost football in the United Arab Emirates. Gullit Peña rose from the shadows of inactivity to the flashy club Al Dhaid.

“Very happy to be in this wonderful country with visit with President Eisa Hilal of Sharjar Sports Council, thanks to my people”, wrote the Mexican through his social networks.

How much money would Carlos Peña receive?

One of the biggest attractions of Arab football is its economic power. The salaries are totally disproportionate to those that can be found in football in Europe and America. According to information compiled by the El Futbolero portal, Carlos Peña would be receiving between $20,000 and $45,000 weekly. This number translates to $2.1 million per year in case the weekly value is the second one shown.
