The Citizenship and Immigration Services, USCIS, announced through its official page that only some asylum seekers will have the opportunity to present the Form I-765application for employment authorization online.
To request a Employment Authorization Document (EAD) based on your pending Asylum Application under the (c)(8) eligibility category, you may file Form I-765 150 days after filing your asylum application. The filing date is the date USCIS receives a properly filed Form I-589, Application for Asylum and Withholding of Removal, and can be found on your notice of receipt.

Online filing of Form I-765 is only available to certain categories of applicants “If you submit Form I-765 online to apply for an EAD and you are not filing an eligible category, USCIS may deny your application without refunding the fee.
