Miguel Layún will restrict greetings to fans after attacks by controversial video to politician

After the controversy in which Miguel Layún was involved by a video addressed to the Mexican Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López, the player spoke through social networks and stated that he will restrict his greetings to fans as a result of this controversy .

It was through his official Twitter account that the Club América player explained that he did not know who the clip was directed at and assured that he usually makes this type of recording to friends and acquaintances when they ask him to.

To prove it, Layún left several extensive tweets accompanied by four videos where he shows that his greetings always have the same structure and only the recipient’s name changes.

“I did not think it was necessary to PROVE what is logical, but given the attacks received I want to leave different messages that I send to my friends/acquaintances when they request it, all with the same structure. I am a person who does NOT like politics, I don’t watch the news. And it is for the simple fact of having grown up in a house where dad watched the news every morning and could notice the stress it caused him, and the people who know me know this, ”he asserted.

“It hurts me what has been done because now I will have to restrict my greetings only to people I know, and not to any person or fan who requests it. I repeat, it seemed logical to me that they would have deduced this just by looking for more videos of my greetings, in short, we prefer to generate likes and interaction than to investigate a little more. What a shame to have to be like this now, ”she wrote.

This last message, Layún accompanied him with a screenshot of a WhatsApp chat where you can see how they request a video greeting and the player politely refused due to the latest events. “You see that they ask for greetings and one ends up steep,” he specified.

Miguel Layún and Giovani Dos Santos were subjected to harsh criticism after audiovisual material emerged in which they send greetings to the Secretary of the Interior of Mexico, Adán Augusto López, who is now a candidate for the presidency.
