Real Madrid’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, is once again in the news for a funny episode that occurred in Real Madrid’s last league match against Athletic Club Bilbao. The Italian strategist ended up fulfilling the wish of a fan who had asked him for a gift of chewing gum.
The event occurred last Sunday during the match that Madrid would end up winning 0-2 as a visitor in San Mamés against Bilbao. When the Meringues were entering the field to play the second half and Ancelotti was arriving to sit on the bench, a fan from the stands yelled at him asking for a gift of gum.
“Carlo, give me some gum, some gum, give me some gum. Ah, thank you,” insisted the fan. Upon receiving the chewing gum from the DT, he could not contain his laughter and emotion. In the background you can hear another fan yelling “give me too”.
