A 72-year-old man was identified this Sunday afternoon as the gunman who shot at a dance hall in Monterey Park. Saturday night and killed 10 people and injured 10 others, authorities said.

The suspect, identified as Huu Can Tran, committed suicide at approximately 1:00 p.m. this Sunday in a parking lot in Torrance when police pulled him over in his white pickup truck in a parking lot, Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said.

Five men and five women died around 10:30 pm this Saturday inside the Star Ballroom Dance Studio, in Monterey Park, Los Angeles County.

At the moment, the authorities have not revealed the motives that led to the mass shooting.
