Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi exchanged posts through their social networks from the moment they met again in Saudi Arabia to play a friendly match between PSG and the stars of the so-called Riyadh XI.
The King Fahd International Stadium, was the venue that hosted the long-awaited match between Cristiano Ronaldo, who played in the Riyadh XI, a team that mixed stars from teams from Saudi Arabia such as ‘Al-Hilal & Al-Nassr’, and Lionel Messi with the already powerful PSG.
The result was a victory for PSG in a great match that was very open and ended up being defined with a difference of 5-4. Messi opened the scoring just after minute 3 while Ronaldo ended up scoring twice, displaying his seal of quality. In the end, the MVP of the match was the Portuguese and Messi’s team took the win.
After the match, both world soccer stars posted publications of their meeting on social networks. Messi did it in the stories of his Instagram account, while Cristiano Ronaldo did it in a carousel of photos through his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
“Very happy to be back on the field, and on the results sheet!! And it’s nice to see some old friends!“, Ronaldo wrote along with five photos that included the hug with the Argentine star and World Champion.
