George Santos cannot get out of a scandal when he is already involved in another, now it has been revealed that congressman allegedly ripped off disabled and homeless veteran with thousands of dollars donated to save a dying and cancer service dog.

According to a new report, the veteran, Richard Osthoff, told the Patch site that she met Santos, who introduced himself as Anthony Devolder, during a difficult time in his life in May 2016. while living in a tent on the side of Route 9 in Howell, New Jersey with her service dog Sapphire at the time.

According to Osthoff, his dog had a tumor in his stomach that grew day by day and the surgery to remove it was $3,000, but had no money to pay. Her dog’s vet recommended that he seek help through a pet charity called Friends of Pets United, directed by Anthony Devolder, alias that George Santos used years ago.

Devolder created a GoFundMe to raise money for Sapphire and once it reached its goal of $3,000, it closed, deleted the fundraising page, and disappeared, Osthoff told Patch.

“The girl has never left my side in 10 years.you. I went through two episodes where I seriously considered suicide, but the thought of leaving her without me saved my life. I loved that dog so much that I inhaled her last breaths when I sacrificed her, ”Osthoff told the aforementioned medium, to whom he also indicated that she never saw a dollar of the proceeds.

The man’s account was corroborated by veteran and retired New Jersey Police Sergeant Michael Boll, who told the news site that when he heard what happened, he tried to help Osthoff by contacting Santos. “I contacted (Santos) and I told him ‘you’re messing with a veteran’and that I needed to return the money… he was not cooperative at all over the phone.”

Santos claimed that he instead donated the $3,000 to other dogs in need because Sapphire was not a candidate for surgery and Osthoff did not do things his way, according to a text exchange seen by the aforementioned site.
