At the beginning of this year 2023, The government of President Joe Biden reinvigorated the operation of the mobile application that bears the name ‘CBP One’which will allow Central American migrants, who are stranded at the southern border on the Mexican side, to schedule their appointments to request asylum in the United States.
Through this application, which is available for IOS and Android devices, people of Venezuelan, Haitian, Guatemalan, Salvadoran and Mexican nationality, among others, will be able to make a prior registration where they will inform the US authorities of the reasons why they want to cross the border between Mexico and the United States.
