The FC Barcelona It seems that Xavi Hernández has finally achieved his target state of form, apparently in the final of the Spanish Super Cup in which he he danced and thrashed to overcome his eternal rival, Real Madrid, by a score of 0-3.

The culés were lords and masters of the game, except for a few minutes in which the white club created some dangers, both in the first and second half.

The Spanish jewel Gavi (34) and Barca’s great star, Robert Lewandowski (45), were in charge of leaving the game on track at the end of the first half. Both goals were the product of highly creative plays and a game of possession.

Those directed by Carlo Ancelotti they never finished standing up to a Barcelona that protected the ball like in the days of Pep Guardiola’s ‘tiki-taka’, with one of his disciples, Xavi, as coach.

The third goal for the Catalans came through another young wonder from Spain, Pedro González López, known as ‘Pedri’. An error at the start of Real Madrid, a true gift from Dani Ceballos, was stolen by Gavi who gave it to Lewandowski, and the highly-produced Pole placed it at the far post so that the midfielder could celebrate the fans present at the King Fahd Stadium in Saudi Arabia.

In added time and desperately, the goal for the meringues arrived. Karim Benzema, the Ballon d’Or 2022, put the goal of honor in a clash in which his club was dishonored: in moments of the game he remained absorbed watching his rival touch the ball up to 40 times, preserving possession and his victory.

The Barça team got its first crown under the current final phase competition format with four teams and the second obtained outside of Spain, since they won the 2018 Super Cup, played in a single match in Tangier (Morocco) against Sevilla (2- 1), with a goal from Frenchman Ousmane Dembele at 78 minutes.
