But in just two days, Chelsea arrived and managed to take the Ukrainian star who shone this year in the UEFA Champions League and even stood out in both games against Real Madrid.
Mudryk, 22, has spent five seasons at Shakhtar although on two occasions he was transferred to other entities in the country. In 2018-19 at Arsenal kyiv and last year at Desna Chernihiv. Arsenal made as many as 3 offers for the Ukrainian player, but Chelsea made the biggest offer. The player is already in London and was at the Stamford Bridge stadium in the Chelsea vs Crystal Palace match. The new player of the English club will wear the number 15.
Despite the big signings, Chelsea is ranked 10th in the Premier League table very far from the European positions that has called into question the continuity of Graham Potter as coach.
