the republican congressman George Santos has once again been in the eye of the hurricane after a video was leaked on social networks where, showing off his skills as a speaker, he appeared before an audience with the name of Anthony Devolder.
The recording dates from three years ago and in it the 34-year-old politician interacts with the public during a “Walk Away LGBT” event, where in addition to answering multiple questions, he invites them to keep an eye on their social networks to find out about the activities he carries out.
So my name is Anthony Devolder. I am a New York City resident. I recently founded a group called United for Trump. So if they want to follow me, that would be awesome,” he mentioned.
The current congressman, whose full name he claims to be George Anthony Devolder Santos, used his two middle names in the aforementioned event despite the fact that at that time he was running for a candidacy which he lost to Thomas Suozzi, in 2020.
According to the VICE publication, Santos’ full name is under debate, since he has not presented his birth certificate proving his correct identity.
In addition, United for Trump, the group that Santos claimed to have founded, does not appear to exist either, or at least has no internet presence.
It should be noted that Santos cannot deny having been at the event where the controversial video was recorded or that it was manipulated to make him look bad, since he even dared to question Blair White, a transgender politician, about how to guide young transgender people so that they stop adopting a progressive ideology.
“How do you think as a conservative trans woman you can help educate other trans people so they don’t have to follow the narrative that the media and Democrats present?” she is heard saying.
If George Santos or Anthony Devolder cannot be trusted to tell the truth about his name, he cannot be trusted to serve in the United States Congress.

Because Santos is being investigated at the state and federal level for the financing of his campaign in the Chamber, and also in Brazil for alleged check fraud, the politician sHe promised to give up his position in Congress if the little more than 140,000 people who voted for him so requested, action considered by his opponents as a smokescreen to get out of the way.
