U2 announce the release of their new album “Songs of Surrender”

Through your account instagram irish rock band u2 announced that On March 17, his long-awaited album will be released Songs of surrender, a collection of new versions of 40 songs that they have recorded throughout their career. The post presents an animation composed of many images, with the theme “Beautiful day” as background music.

The group’s guitarist The Edgealso made use of his account Twitter to share a series of letters reporting on this work: “Once we made our bow to the original version, each song began to open up to a new authentic voice of this time, of the people we are now, and particularly of the singer he has become Bond. I hope you like our new direction.”

Although the titles of the songs that will make up Songs of surrenderthese could be the ones that Bono included in his book Surrender: 40 songs, one storywhich went on sale last year and will promote with presentations in the United States in April.
