From the Convention Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the 2023 edition of CES took place, where Mercedes-Benz stood out with the naked eye through one of the largest armed exhibits in the place.
The German company’s electrification strategy was one of the main sources of conversation, with 2030 as the key date to electrify most of its models.
One of the most attractive models of the event was the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX. Its striking, futuristic design and incredible autonomy capacity made it complete 1,200 kilometers on a single battery charge.
In addition, it reveals the development plans for new autonomous and semi-autonomous driving technologies, new high-resolution audio equipment and a new network of public charging stations for electric cars.
The first seasons will take place in the United States, to later cover other markets such as Canada and the rest of the world. Also, Mercedes announced the level 3 autonomous driving authorization in Nevada, that is, when the car takes much of the driving responsibility, although the driver, in the same way, must be attentive to the road.
However, not everything ends there, since they are also looking to obtain level 4 authorization in low-speed areas, such as parking lots. In fact, the previous year a demonstration could be seen in Santa Monica where the Mercedes managed to park itself.
On the other hand, it was also announced the superdackelthe mascot of Mercedes-Benz in association with the Super Plastic company with the aim of attracting a new generation of consumers of the brand.
