Netherlands footballer Wout Weghorst, the same one that Messi faced with the famous phrase “What are you looking at, stupid? Go over there”, at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, would be about to sign with Manchester Unitedwho would already have a verbal agreement with the player who stood out in the last World Cup.
The Turkish Besiktas, the current club of the Dutch footballer, would only have the condition of being able to get a substitute for the position that the striker would leave vacant. The journalist specializing in transfer issues, Fabrizio Romano, explained that the word agreement between Weghorst and United would already be readybut now the last word would be the Turks.

This way it would be Wout Weghorst, chosen by Eric ten Hag to replace the position left by Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester Unitedwho left through the back door of the team and by mutual agreement between the parties and headed for Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia.
Notably Weghorst’s pass belongs to Burnley, and after this season, if the transfer is finalized, it would be decided if the striker would continue with the Red Devils or if he would return to the club to which his file belongs. The Dutch striker scored two goals in the last World Cup and for Ten Hag he is the chosen option to join his team.
If he arrived at United, he would coincide with Lisandro Martínez, one of the World Champions and teammates of Lionel Messi who was present in the spicy match between Argentina and the Netherlands in the quarterfinals of the World Cup and which ended with victory for the South Americans in the penalty shootout.
