Craig Harrington, former Women’s America coach and current Utah Royals FC coach as DT in the National Women Soccer League, He was suspended from all soccer-related activities for a period of two years.this after verifying a case of harassment against one of the soccer players of the club that he was currently directing.

The coach had had problems in Mexican soccer, from where he was fired for insulting Rayadas Monterrey players in a matchsaid incident cost him the dismissal of the position to the North American trainer.

After this, there are several cases of inappropriate behavior in which the DT has been involved. In 2020 several cases were brought to light by an investigation by The Salk Lake Trinune.

In the aforementioned research it was revealed that Harrington divided the soccer players according to their physical appearance and also several would have been victims of harassment from him and his assistant Louis Lancaster. Faced with this reality, the Utah Royals decided to fire the coach indefinitely; now almost 18 months later NWSL confirms coach’s two-year suspension that he will not be able to carry out any type of football-related activity in the next two years.
