Rihanna began his triumphant return to music since last year, but now Director Peter Berg has announced that he has been working on a documentary about the singer’s life for more than six yearsand that could be released soon on the platform of streaming Amazon Prime.

In interview with The Hollywood ReporterBerg -who led Rihanna on the tape “Battleship” from 2012- informed that only the approval of the artist is missing for the final work to proceed with the final touches for a premiere: “She is a perfectionist, so we keep adding. It’s been six and a half years of filming, so yes, she’s ready to go. We’re just waiting for her to say, ‘Yeah, let’s do it.’”

Despite all this, Peter also commented that the singer might want to continue with the production of the documentary until the tenth anniversary of filming., but he has been very honored to be selected for that job. “I thought he was joking. My work tends to be a bit more masculine, at least on the surface. But this has allowed me to pop in and out of his life while doing other things. I loved watching her in the studio, watching her turn Fenty into that billion-dollar company and now being a mom. It’s such an enriching experience that I really don’t care how long it takes.” For now, Rihanna refine the details for his presentation at halftime of the Super Bowl LVIIIwhich will take place on February 12.
