Two fugitives from the United States fell in Colombia; They were wanted for murder and drug trafficking.

Two fugitives from the United States Justice were detained in Colombia and were left in the hands of the authorities pending the procedures for their extradition, reported the Prosecutor’s Office of that country.

One of the captures was made in Bogotá where he was arrested Guillermo Alejandro Castillo Aguilara Colombian citizen who is requested by a court in Harris County, in the state of Texas, for a homicide, the Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.

Castillo, who served in the United States in 1998, is charged with the murder of a young Americana crime perpetrated at the home of a colleague who had attended a social gathering that ended in a fight, in which he allegedly beat the victim to death.

For these facts, Castillo was arrested and posted a $20,000 bail. Later, escaped from the United States and did not respond to judicial calls.

The other capture took place in Barranquilla, in the north of the country, where the American was arrested. Patrick Dale Liljebeckconvicted of charges related to drug trafficking by an Arkansas state judge, the Prosecutor’s Office said.

At the time, this man received the benefit of probation, but days later he left the country with false documents, the information added.
