Ovidio Guzmán's defense asks for medication; El Chapo's son suffers from depression and anxiety

The initial hearing suffered a long delay, because the detainee was not in the courtroom and the judge requested his physical presence to begin.

Once started, representatives of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) in matters of international affairs, explained the reasons why The United States wants the son of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.

The judge asked the representatives of the FGR to initiate an investigation file against the director of El Altiplano, since there was no legal reason for her not allowing the presence of Ovidio Guzmán in the room. For the same reason, he fined her more than 19,000 Mexican pesos.
