This Saturday some unfortunate images went viral in which Julio César el Cata Domínguez celebrated his son’s 12th birthday with a themed party alluding to Chapo Guzmán. Immediately when these images came to light, the veteran Cruz Azul soccer player received a great deal of criticism due to what this character represents in the history of crime and drug trafficking in Mexico.
Among other things, the presence of objects alluding to drug trafficking and all the negative that Guzmán represents in Mexican lands drew a lot of attention.. As if that were not enough, the guests wore caps with the phrase “Chapiza” and the initials “JGL”, which made a clear allusion to the current conflicts.

The guests arrived wearing black clothes with guns, pretending to be just another drug trafficker and a member of the dangerous organization that represents one of the most wanted capos in history.Alas, he is currently serving a sentence in the United States.
Other Cruz Azul footballers such as Erick Lira, Carlos Rotondi and Carlos Rodríguez attended the unfortunate event organized by Domínguez in which he practically paid tribute to a criminal to celebrate the life of his son. In addition, the young man, barely 12 years old, thanked his guests and all who attended his celebration.

Criticism of Domínguez rained down on him through social networks and they even called on the Cruz Azul board of directors to punish a behavior that for many exposes the shield of the club that Cata represents.
I find it shameful that @CruzAzul allows Julio César Domínguez to continue as captain of the squad after this.

A pronouncement is expected from the team in this situation and from the player himself, many have even asked for their expulsion from the institution for such an unfortunate situationFor now we will have to wait, for now Cruz Azul is concentrated in Tijuana to face the Xolos.
