After losing a bet with Nahuel Guzmán, André-Pierre Gignac complied and dressed up as the Wizard King to bring joy to a group of children in Nuevo León during a day of coexistence at the University Stadium.

In collaboration with Doctor Sonrisas, several Tigres players dressed as Three Wise Men and went to the venue to deliver gifts to 115 children from Nuevo León. In the images you could see the French striker wearing a cape and a crown while he shared with the little ones. The day was marked by the laughter and anecdotes that the players shared with the little ones.

It should be remembered that several weeks ago Nahuel Guzmán and André-Pierre Gignac bet on the 2022 Qatar World Cup final, where their respective teams met. Finally, Argentina would end up being crowned world champion, so the French striker had to disguise himself.

The cats are concentrated working under the orders of their new DT Diego Cocca, after the departure of Miguel ‘Piojo’ Herrera last December on the eve of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Tigres will debut in the 2023 Clausura Tournament of the Liga MX this Sunday, January 8, against Santos Laguna at the Corona Stadium. It is presumed that the Uruguayan Fernando Gorriarán could be in that match for the first time, who would face his former team. The one who will not be there will be the defense Samir Caetano, due to suspension.

The university team will play at home on January 15 against the current Mexican soccer champion and those led by Guillermo Almada (Pachuca).
