Gluxkind, a Canadian startup, presented during the Las Vegas Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2023 a new baby car model that has autonomous driving. Thanks to this, the car is able to move without the need for the baby’s parents to control it manually.

The car named Ella Smart Stroller is powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and operates similar to new self-driving cars.

From Gluxkind they ensure that the premise of the car is that parents do not have to make any kind of effort to move their baby while they are on the street. They point out that in those moments in which the baby is not inside one of these devices, it will automatically take care of activating an autopilot mode allowing parents to carry their baby without having to worry about pushing the stroller.

In order to make the car move autonomously, the Canadian startup chose to install multiple sensors that make it possible for it to analyze its environment and avoid obstacles.

As part of the operation of the Ella Smart Stroller, it is designed to move ahead of parents while they are walking and if they stop, it also stops moving and changes its course to stay ahead of them.

Regarding the engine that makes it possible for the car to move, they revealed that it is a dual engine that, in addition to being effective on flat terrain, can also operate smoothly on slopes with a certain degree of inclination. Also includes speakers that transmit white noise and a car seat for babies.

Those people who want it they can reserve the car for a price of $3,300 dollars and they will be able to receive the first deliveries from April of this year.

baby technology

The Ella Smart Stroller was not the only device for babies that was presented during CES 2023, as in addition to this, the Q-Bear was also released. It’s about a device that according to its manufacturers is capable of translating the cry of a baby so that his parents can tell if he is hungry, sleepy or uncomfortable.

In addition to this the Q-Bear, like the Ella Smart Strolleralso has speakers that play white noise to reassure you and help you fall asleep more easily.
