Harry Styles was the most successful musical artist of 2022 in the United Kingdom, as announced Official Chart Company (OCC), which provides week-by-week charts of best-selling and downloaded singles and albums.
The former member of the group one direction returned to the music scene last year with the single “As it was”which ranked first in the charts for 10 weeks, becoming the most popular song of 2022, with more than 180 million audio and video downloads. Other songs promoted by Styles that were heard were “Late night talk” Y “Music for a sushi restaurant”both successful, but without the worldwide drag of the first track.
Harry also topped another OCC list of best-selling albums of the year with Harry’s house, which in addition to digital downloads was one of the most requested in its vinyl and CD formats. The singer did not put aside in 2022 his facet as an actor, since he starred in the movies “Don’t worry, darling” Y “My police man”which were popular worldwide upon release but garnered mixed reviews.
