The “Cañoneros” of Mazatlán FC of the Liga MX, confirmed the signing of striker Aké Loba, a footballer born in the Ivory Coast and who will have his third experience in Mexico after his steps through Querétaro and Monterrey.
The 24-year-old African striker had a failed spell in the MLS with Nashville, a franchise with which he played a total of 21 games and could only score one goal.
After the departure of Brian Rubio, Loba is expected to be the benchmark for the attack of the eleventh gunboat during the Closing Tournament of Mexican soccer that is about to start.
It should be noted that the Ivorian international has had outstanding performances in soccer in his country and in Peru where he played for the University of San Martín. With the national team he played a qualifying match for the Africa Cup.
He was runner-up in the Toulon Hopes Tournament and was part of the last pre-Olympic tournament played by the Ivory Coast. The cannoners welcomed the African striker through their social networks and hope that he will have an outstanding season and give many goals to the team.
