On vacation after fighting his last fight of the year in September and after an operation on one of his hands, Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez and his wife Fernanda Gómez showed off their white Christmas on Instagram before the end of 2023.

The Mexican boxer was in Guadalajara a few weeks ago celebrating his daughter María Fernanda’s fifth birthday with a Barbie-themed party, but on December 29 he took his private plane and went to enjoy the intense snow, although without specify the country.

Some speculations place it in the United States, where the temperatures have been out of the ordinary and the snow has been intense and constant. It was through his stories on Instagram where Álvarez exhibited postcards of his cold Christmas with his wife and daughters.

Fernanda would not be left behind and would publish photos wearing a pink coat with white pants that generated some compliments from Internet users and even a comment from ‘Canelo’, who limited himself to putting a love emoji. Several users ventured to try to guess the location and assured that it was Vail, in Colorado, United States.

Gomez also shared a video hugging the boxer, who was wearing black winter clothing and did not hesitate to show affection for his wife by kissing her on the cheek.

The boxer’s eldest daughter, Emily, also participates in the holidays, who posted some photos on her Instagram account and wrote a message that read: “Simple, but cute.”

After having defeated Gennady Golovkin in September and undergoing surgery on one of his hands, ‘Canelo’ Álvarez is in the recovery process to return to the ring. It is presumed that he could be ready by the first quarter of 2023.
