A young Mexican student went viral on the TikTok social network after receiving a giant cardboard figure of the Mexican pilot Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez in a gift exchange. The event occurred in a classroom and the person in question responds to the name of Sofía Martínez. Her fondness for her pilot from Guadalajara led her teacher to surprise her with that gift.
In the audiovisual you can see the moment in which the young woman begins to uncover the gift wrapped in decorated paper. As he opened it, he realized that it was a life-size ‘Checo’ Pérez.
In the clip, the emotion and laughter of her companions is fully visible, who were aware of the young woman’s fanaticism for the Mexican pilot.
Martinez ended up kissing the image. The video that she herself shared on her TikTok account reached 127,000 views and more than 16,000 comments. The reactions of the Internet users did not wait and applauded the originality of the gift given by the teacher.

‘Checo’ Pérez usually awakens passions among his fans. He recently was a speaker at a university event at a Mexican university and a student who had just received his degree yelled at him from the four winds that she could now divorce him.
Months ago, a young Japanese woman who learned the Mexican national anthem and fell in love with Aztec culture thanks to her love for the pilot from Guadalajara also went viral on Twitter.
Pérez will return to the 2023 Formula 1 season next March. The campaign will have a total of 24 races and will run until November 26 with the Abu Dhabi circuit at Yas Marina.
