Producer Jerry Bruckheimer talks about a possible return of Johnny Depp to the saga of “Pirates of the Caribbean”

In a recent interview, producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed that there is no Nothing definitive regarding Johnny Depp starring in a new film of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series, but he is already working on it and a script is being prepared

After the trial in which Johnny Depp confronted his ex-wife Amber Heard many fans of the actor have wondered if among his new projects would be to play Captain Jack Sparrow again in a new film of the saga “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Now, the producer of those films, Jerry Bruckheimer Julio Cortés, spoke about it.

Recently interviewed by The Associated Press Bruckheimer was brief and cautious in his responses, but enthusiastic about the project: “We are still working on it. Until now there is nothing definitive, but we continue step by step towards a script”.

Johnny has starred in five “Pirates of the Caribbean” and in 2004 was nominated for the award Oscar for his work on the first film in the series. Jerry also worked with the actor on “The lone ranger”

, a film by 1200 that failed at the box office and got negative reviews.
