Breaking a few curses in its path, the French team managed to advance to a World Cup final for the second consecutive time after defeating its counterpart from Morocco in the semifinals of the World Cup in Qatar . The effusiveness was such that even the president of the nation, Emmanuel Macron joined the festivities in the locker room as one more player.

It has been common throughout the ecumenical event to see heads of state in the stands of the different venues that host the competition. Last Wednesday, Macron was next to the top FIFA leader Gianni Infantino.

The stands of the Al Bayt Stadium witnessed the joy of the president after the 2-0 victory of his team. Later, in a video that would go viral on social networks, the politician could be seen greeting the members of the squad in the locker room in full celebration, while the players sang and danced.

In the video you can see a Macron arrive in a hurry at the entrance to the dressing room. Once inside, players like Giroud can be seen jumping on a table while the president drinks some water and hallucinates the atmosphere.

The ruler also offered his analysis of the meeting before the microphones present while he was on his way to the celebration. In his statement, Macron did not hide his happiness at the achievement, but highlighted the work of the opposing team.

“I feel very proud of my country. I’m very happy. I want the French to enjoy this happiness. The Moroccans played very well. I want to tell the people of Morocco that they have a great team… I want to extend our friendship,” he said.

It should be remembered that the official did not presented to a meeting of the European Union (EU) with the aim of being able to witness the match in the box of the Al Bayt Stadium. The president already knows what it is to accompany the French team after he also did it in the World Cup in Russia 1200 where the Gauls defeated Croatia.

Those led by Didier Deschamps will face Argentina this Sunday at the Lusail Stadium and will seek to be the first nation in more than 20 years with a two-time World Championship.
