Colima began to appear in all the media since the beginning of , since the The Mexican state is experiencing an unprecedented wave of violence that has terrified its inhabitants, since confrontations, shootings, homicides, kidnappings and other illicit acts have become part of everyday life.
Organized crime is behind all the chaos and a criminal group in particular has sown terror: the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). With narcomantas they claim to have made pacts with the state government.
And it is that the early morning of 04 of December, at least two narcomantas appeared in which the four-letter cartel refers to an alleged agreement involving the authorities and the Colima Independent Cartel , also known as Los Mezcales . Some residents took photographs of the texts and uploaded them to social networks, where they quickly went viral.
According to what is stated in the narcomantas, the CJNG gave a large sum of money to deputy Rogelio Vizcaíno , before this they addressed the federal and state government telling them to comply with their agreement or they are going to start unsubscribing them, calling them “pin$%& rats”.
They claim to be the CJNG and to be under the command of Omar Alejandro Ochoa Paz and Julio Alberto Castillo Rodríguez. After the “presentation” they tell Rogelio Vizcaíno to remember the 2 million dollars they gave him to help them put an end to Los Mezcales, but far from that, he is supporting them, according to the hitmen who wrote the text.
Violence in Colima
It is not the first time that the name of Los Mezcales appears behind the violent events that took place in Colima, because last August, a leader of said criminal group was arrested in Mexico City.
This is José Bernabé Brizuela, alias “La Vaca” , whose arrest caused a series of disturbances in the entity, as confirmed by the Defense Secretariat itself National (Sedena). It should be noted that Los Mezcales is a criminal cell that emerged from a split from the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel.
